Portal Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Aura Events client portal and related websites and tools (the “Portal”), operated by The Aura Company LLC d/b/a Aura Events (“Aura Events,” “we,” or “us”). By signing in to or using the Portal, you agree to these Terms. If you have signed a planning agreement with Aura Events, that agreement also applies, and it controls if anything here conflicts with it.
1. Who may use the Portal
The Portal is for Aura Events clients and the people they or Aura Events invite, such as family members, wedding-party members, and vendors. You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. Access is by invitation only.
Each account is personal. Do not share your login. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us right away at auraeventsus@gmail.com if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
2. Invited family members and vendors
Clients may ask Aura Events to invite family members or vendors. Invited users see only the information Aura Events makes available to their role. Clients are responsible for whom they ask us to invite and for the accuracy of what they and their invitees enter.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, crawl, download in bulk, frame, mirror, or archive the Portal or its content, except for documents we provide to you for download;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the source code, structure, or design of the Portal, or build a competing product or service using it;
- share screenshots, exports, templates, or documents from the Portal with anyone other than your own family, guests, and vendors as needed for your celebration;
- access accounts, celebrations, or data that are not yours, or try to get around security or access controls;
- upload anything unlawful, infringing, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share, including other people’s personal information without their permission;
- interfere with the Portal’s operation, or use it to send spam or harass anyone.
4. Intellectual property and copyright
The Portal and everything Aura Events creates or provides through it — including designs, design concepts, mood boards, floor plans, timelines, schedules, overviews, run-of-show documents, checklists, templates, ritual and ceremony guides, written content, software, and the look and feel of the Portal (“Aura Materials”) — are owned by The Aura Company LLC and protected by copyright and other laws. © 2026 The Aura Company LLC d/b/a Aura Events. All rights reserved.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view and use the Aura Materials made available to you solely to plan and hold your own celebration and to keep personal, non-commercial copies as a keepsake. No other rights are granted. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, modify, create derivative works from, or use Aura Materials for any other person, event, or business.
“Aura Events,” “The Aura Method,” and related names and logos are our trademarks. You may not use them without our written permission.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, guest lists, files, links, messages, and other content you add to the Portal (“Your Content”). You give Aura Events permission to host, store, copy, display, and share Your Content with our team and the vendors and invitees involved in your celebration, only as needed to provide our services and operate the Portal.
You confirm that you have the right to share Your Content, including any personal information about guests, family members, or vendors.
6. Confidentiality
The Portal contains confidential information, including our pricing, proposals, vendor terms, templates, and internal processes, as well as personal information about clients, families, and guests. Please keep it confidential and use it only for your celebration. We protect your information as described in our Privacy Notice.
7. Electronic communications and signatures
You agree that we may communicate with you electronically, through the Portal, by email, and, if you opt in, by text message. Agreements you sign in the Portal using your typed full legal name and drawn signature are legally binding electronic signatures. Before you sign, the Portal shows a separate disclosure explaining your right to a paper copy and how to withdraw consent.
8. Third-party services and links
The Portal may link to or rely on services we do not control, such as file-sharing links you provide, calendars, maps, and vendor websites. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Portal available and accurate, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We may change, add, or remove features. Portal access may end a reasonable period after your final event; please download any documents you want to keep.
10. Disclaimers
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PORTAL IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Cultural, ceremony, and planning guides are general information and are not religious, legal, or professional advice.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AURA EVENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PORTAL. If you have a planning agreement with us, the limitation of liability in that agreement applies. Otherwise, our total liability relating to the Portal will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Aura Events harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Portal, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or of anyone else’s rights.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access to the Portal for any user who violates these Terms or misuses the Portal, or when an engagement ends. Sections about intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law continue to apply after access ends.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are resolved as described in your planning agreement with Aura Events; if you do not have one, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify clients through the Portal or by email. Continued use of the Portal after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
